The telecom sector has a huge demand for the trained and qualified engineers specializing in mobile
telecommunications. The rationales behind this are as follows:
1. Indian telecom industry has around 13 mobile service providers now with 569.56 million mobile connections as on 15th
Apr 2011 an addition of 14.5 million mobile connections in just one month. Industry is witnessing this kind of bullish
growth over an year.
2. Rollout of 3G networks by the Indian telecom operators are in full swing
3. Expansion of mobile telecom networks is also taking place in Middle Eastern countries, Africa, etc.
4. There is a dearth of trained and qualified mobile telecom engineers in India, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific
Region.
In order to fill up this growing demand of qualified professionals, BSNL, a fully owned Government of India company, is
launching a certification-training program in GSM RF engineering at Regional Telecom Training Centre, Gachibowli,
Hyderabad-32, India. The details of this course are as follows:
Course Name: BSNL Certified RF Engineer
BSNL Certified RF Engineer. The course will commence from 14th May -2012.
Course Duration
1. One Month (Four weeks) of theoretical and practical training in Regional Telecom Training Centre
Plus
2. One week Hands on practice on RF Planning Tool, Drive Test Tool etc., in the surrounding locations of the
Regional Telecom Training Centre, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Who Can Apply
1. Candidates who have completed Graduation in engineering in the disciplines of ECE / EEE / EIE or M.Sc .(Electronics).
2. Candidates should have at least 50% of academic marks in their engineering course.
How to Apply
Download the registration form the site. Duly submit the same to the address mentioned under contacts/ correspondence along with
the Registration Fee. (Follow any one of the Mode of Payment given below). Confirmation mail will be sent on receipt of application.
Course Fee
Registration Fee: Rs.200 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 225/-
Course Fee: Rs.18, 000 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 20,225/-
Mode of Payment: Payment of registration and course fees can be made in any of the three following modes
1. Payment can be made by cash/DD drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC, Hyderabad”,
at the cash counter of RTTC, Gachibowli.
2. Payment in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC, Hyderabad” along with
the registration form can be send through speed post to the Principal, RTTC, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-32.
3. Amount can be remitted to the RTTC, Corporation Bank, Gachibowli account No. CBCA/01/000005, Bank
MICR code: -500017025, Bank IFS Code: CORP0001049 through (a) e-banking/EFT or (b) at any bank.
The candidates opting for the above option (3), should send an e-mail to bdrttc@bsnl.co.in giving the
particulars like (a) name, (b) course name, (c) dates of course, (d) mobile number (e) fee remittance
particulars (f) Completely filled registration form as an attachment
Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded or transferred.
Documents to be submitted
1.Duly Filled Application Form along with Photo Affixed on it.
2.One Stamp/ Passport Size Photo (Write The Name, on backside of Photo).
3.Photo & Address proof Xerox (Driving License, PAN, Ration card, Voter ID etc.)
4.B.Tech / M.Tech Certificate Xerox
Placement
No placement or Placement assistance will be provided by BSNL.
Assessment Criteria
1. Candidates undergoing this course should clear all the Four Weekly assessment tests conducted during the course to secure the
certification from RTTC, BSNL.
2. Candidates will be awarded grades in the certification based upon their performance in the exams conducted by RTTC
a. Grade A+ - 90% & above marks
b. Grade A - 80% - 90%
c. Grade B+- 70% - 80%
d. Grade B - 60% - 70%
e. Grade C - 50% - 60%
f. Failed - Below 50%
3. Candidates who obtain below 50% of average marks in the tests will be given only one additional chance to reappear for the test.
If the candidates fail in the reexamination, they will not be awarded the certificate under any case.
Hostel Facility (Optional)
Lodging & Boarding Charges = Rs.156 per Trainee per day on Triple Sharing basis
(Hostel will be provided only during 5 weeks of training and is subjected to availability).
Important Dates
 Registrations commence on: 2nd April 2012
 Registrations close on: 8th May 2012
 Payment of Course fee: up to 10th May 2012
 Course Commencement: 14th May 2012
 Course duration in RTTC: 14th May 2012 – 8th June 2012
 Field training at RTTC, Gachibowli: 11th June 2012 – 15th June 2012 (Optional, Terms & conditions Apply).
Note: The BSNL RTTC, Hyderabad Reserves the right to postpone the course schedule. In such case the student
opted will be better placed in the next batches.
